About

Stand For the Faith was created to be another voice proclaiming and defending the Christian faith.  A key to understand the Christian faith is to understand the Biblical gospel message.  There are many counterfeit gospel messages but only one that is to be believed in order for a person to be saved from the penalty of sin.  This site exists to defend the faith, defend the gospel, and to uplift fellow Christians seeking to serve and glorify God.

    James,

Thanks for stopping by. I am working on getting a new site email. Hopefully tomorrow.

  2. Dear Jim Floyd,
Thank you for your extensive expose on Andrew Farley. Incredible.
I just finished my own expose investigation on him and his climate change scientist evangelist wife Katharine Hayhoe and their support of Rick Warren. I would love to send you the PDF file but just need your email so I can attach it.
    Thanks
    Blessings

    Hi Elisha,
Thanks for your concerns. Who is it that you think I have come against that preaches the true gospel? You could be more specific otherwise I have no idea what you are talking about.
Gal 1:8-9 is not talking about a double curse.
Those under the law have to live up to the law, and no one can. That is why grace is so important. That is precisely why no works of righteousness play a part in salvation. Self righteousness does stink in God’s sight. What is your point?
Most all preachers or teachers that get called out on this site are called out precisely because they mess up grace or the gospel. Let me name a few: Billy Graham, Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Joseph Prince, Andrew Farley, David Platt, Kyle Idleman, Spurgeon, Augustine, Sproul, Calvin, Jeremy White, Zane Hodges, Ray Comfort, and I am sure there were more… It is sad yet true in all of their cases that they in some way mess up grace and or the gospel. If that weren’t bad enough, there are even grace guys on one hand that get the method of receiving eternal life correct but mess up the object of faith by saying that Jesus died spiritually. Robert Dean is a current example but there are many more that do this. Not mentioning any at this time.
Why is it important? Because God’s Word matters and the truth matters.

  4. Elisha says:

Be careful who you come against, especially a man of God who preaches the true gospel, the gospel of grace and peace, the gospel of Christ.
Double cursed is anyone who preaches a false gospel…(see Galatians 1:8-9).
Cursed are those who are of the works of the law (see Galatians 3).
    Self-righteousness stinks!
